Upcoming Ghost Investigations

Wide River Winery tasting room in LeClaire, Iowa

Wide River Winery Ghost Hunting Experience

Wednesday, October 29th

6-8pm

106 N. Cody Road, LeClaire, Iowa

Join QC Haunts for another exciting Wide River Winery investigation, this time in their LeClaire, Iowa, location.

The LeClaire Ghost Hunting Experience in Wide River Winery

If you've been to the Wide River Winery tasting room in LeClaire before, you might have felt like someone was watching you. Or perhaps you felt the temperature change around you--and it wasn't the effects of the wine! On Wednesday, October 29th, you can join QC Haunts & History for a paranormal investigation of the historic building at 106 N. Cody Road. We'll have access to the main floor's tasting room, the upstairs AirBnB, and other parts of the property.

You'll get an introduction to the history of the building and of LeClaire. You'll also learn how to use paranormal investigation equipment in order to make contact with those on the other side. If you've ever been curious about ghost investigating and how it works, this event is for you. Plus, you'll receive guidance from S&S Paranormal Investigations and Haunted Maps.

Tickets are $30 each and include one glass of wine and a charcuterie cup. You can also stock up on the area's best wine for your Halloween party!

Ages 21 and up only.

QC Haunts & History Tours

Step into the past with QC Haunts & History Tour. You'll discover that dead folks do tell tales as we explore the streets and haunts of Rock Island and the Village of East Davenport. History will come to life during the time of gangsters and speakeasies when Rock Island, Ill., was vice lord John Looney's town, and prohibition didn't matter. Then head across the river to the Village of East Davenport to "meet" Civil War soldiers and other restless spirits from a bygone time.

QC Haunts & History is the ONLY ghost tour in the Illinois Quad Cities!

Private tours may be scheduled during other times. Email qchaunts@gmail.com or text 309-781-7083 for more information.

About Us

Minda Powers-Douglas, founder and guide

Minda Powers-Douglas started QC Haunts & History in 2019. She loves ghost stories and learning about history--she seldom misses a chance to go on ghost tours wherever she travels. She’s also written three books about cemeteries and has spoken about cemetery history and art throughout the Midwest and beyond. Minda has had a interest in ghosts and all things spooky since she was a kid--realizing later in life that her childhood imaginary friend was not so imaginary after all. Since then she’s had many paranormal experiences including a ghost in her old apartment, visits from dead loved ones, and hitchhiking ghosts. She is also a librarian and artist.
